Psychopharmacology

This course reviews psychopharmacology topics including the neuronal and chemical mechanisms underlying drug action and the environmental factors modulating the impact of drugs on emotion, cognition, perception and behavior. It will also cover the processes underlying substance use disorder, alcohol use disorder, tolerance, and withdrawal, as well as current treatment and prevention strategies for these conditions.
