The Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology (AAS HIT) program requires the completion of a 90-quarters credit hour. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of health information management via electronic systems, including the safe transfer of data among patients, doctors, insurance companies, and quality auditors. This requires handling medical records digitally, including processing, storing, and exchanging health information.
