The Black Intellectual Tradition

Required for all Majors. Offered in the Fall semester and must be taken in student’s the senior year. Students will complete a senior research project. This senior project will require students to demonstrate their familiarity with the theories, 156 / 1272 Queens College methods, and foundational debates of Africana Studies, and call upon their knowledge of different academic disciplines to conduct research on a self-designed topic from an interdisciplinary perspective.
