The purpose of this precepted practicum course is to provide students an immersion experience in the CNS role through health promotion, wellness, and disease management of acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan from adolescent to adult to older adult. The practicum experiences will occur in both the Acute Care setting and either 1) the Emergency or Urgent Care setting or 2) the Primary Care or Specialty Outpatient Clinic setting.
