The purpose of this didactic course is to (1) provide the Dual Role (Family NP/Adult-Gerontological Acute Care NP) students with an in- depth study of the health care management of young adults, adults, and older adults across the wellness-illness continuum and to (2) provide a forum for the critical analysis and evaluation of issues and trends encountered by the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in an interdisciplinary health care delivery system.
