Culture and Learning

This discussion-based seminar focuses on critically examining the concept of learning, as seen from an Anthropological perspective. Students will gain an understanding of learning as a dynamic, culturally-framed process by exploring examples of child socialization practices around the world and by considering the continuation of enculturation into adulthood in varied cultural contexts.
