Advanced Materials and Methods

This course will analyze and evaluate innovative and emerging building materials, including both traditional and progressive building envelope systems. Students will cultivate an understanding of various building envelope systems' impacts on building performance, aesthetics, moisture transfer, durability, and energy and material resources. Special regard will be paid to material and systems' impact on sustainable design and building resiliency.
