Critical Thinking

This course will examine complex types of reasoning, including statistical judgment, decision making, and causal and analogical thinking. Emphasis will be placed on the analysis of concrete examples of reasoning in various fields. Students will learn how to evaluate arguments, fallacies, common errors, and biases in reasoning and decision making. Identical with PHL 120. Fulfills the General Education requirement.
