Video Art

This course introduces techniques in video production and editing while exploring the creative, critical, and historical facets of video in art and culture. The course covers digital literacy foundations and is an introduction to digital and time-based art. It teaches skills that have both creative and commercial applications while highlighting their use in contemporary art practice. Assignments emphasize camera use, editing, project development, and some intermediate post-production techniques.
