This course explores formal, critical and technical approaches to painting. Topics include advanced exercises in color theory, personal imagery building, and the history and context of painting. Prerequisites: ARTS 2351 and ART 1301 and ART 1303 and [ARTC 1301 or ARTS 1301 or ARTS 1303] and [ARTC 1302 or ARTS 1302 or ARTS 1304 or ARTT 2372] all with a grade of "D" or better.
