Biology Pedagogy and Learning

This course provides an introduction to pedagogical ideas relevant to the teaching and learning of biology for biology learning assistants. Students will learn key education theories and methods from STEM education research and cognitive science. Students will evaluate the processes of teaching and learning and examine structures and practices that facilitate and/or inhibit student learning.
