Aquatic Ecology

An introduction to the diversity and ecology of aquatic organisms. Students will learn to use ecological concepts to understand aquatic ecosystems and how they are impacted by human activities. They will also summarize and extract relevant information from scientific papers in aquatic ecology, analyze collected data, and communicate the results effectively. The laboratory sessions will include both lab and field work and at least a one-day field trip.
