Biomedical Techniques

This course is designed for students interested in biomedical sciences and challenges students to investigate current medical practices using technology and advances in health care research. Topics include histology, medical terminology, ethics, forensic medicine, infectious diseases, organ transplants, cell biology and cancer, careers, and biomedical research. Basic tissue types and major organ systems of mammals will be examined using microscopy.
