The Biology of Cancer

How normal cell function and division is controlled as compared to the metabolism and growth of cancer cells. Includes consideration of the factors causing or contributing to cancer formation (chemicals, viruses, radiation, diet, genetics), the classification of cancers, the rationale for and description of the different typesof cancer therapy, and future directions for cancer research. May not be used to fulfill biology major or minor requirements.
