Introduction to Public Health

This course is an introductory survey course to the entire field of public health and provides a broad overview of the history, philosophy, policy, systems and issues of public health with a focus on the United States. The course, taught through an evidence-based approach, will teach students how to frame questions, analyze causes, brainstorm solutions and critically analyze implementation methods regarding important current issues in public health.
