Pharmacology

This course will help students master the practical competencies of basic pharmacology. It will focus on the pharmacology of drugs including their classification and origin, pharmacokinetics, mechanism of action, indications, contraindications, adverse and side effects, drug interactions, and use in special patient populations. You will learn how drugs affect different biological systems, how the body responds to those drugs, and why one drug does not fit all.
