This course is designed to provide modern perspectives on the study of animal behavior, pulling from fields as diverse as evolutionary biology, ecology, neurobiology and economics. However, there will be a historical undercurrent which will illustrate the roots of this truly interdisciplinary field. Writing proficiency is required for a passing grade in this course.
