This course is designed to familiarize students with the endocrine system, complete with the structure and function of various glands; the molecular triggers that activate hormone production from these glands; the biosynthesis of many hormones, the actions of these hormones at the cellular, physiological, and behavioral levels; and the evolutionary underpinnings of endocrine function. Lectures will be partly traditional, and partly interactive.
