Cell Biology

The cell as a basic unit of life. It covers discussion of the origin of life, classification, genetics, and metabolism leading to an integrated understanding of the relationship between chemistry and biology. It also covers the structure and function of biomolecules, cytoskeletons. Three lecture hours and a two-hour laboratory per week.
