Evidence-Based Practice in Autism

The course is designed to help students understand how to promote the social aspects of language in children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders within an evidence-based practice framework. In this course, students will critically examine standardized norm-referenced tests used to diagnose autism. Also addressed will be the broad range of evidence- based language intervention strategies recommended for children with Autism in the early years and once in school.
