Computational Methods in Civil Engineering

This course is an introduction to numerical analysis and computational methods as applicable to civil engineering. A survey of finite element analysis with a review of differential equations, boundary conditions, integral forms and numerical integration will be covered. This course particularly focuses on application of numerical techniques to simulate and solve steady-state and transient solid and fluid problems in civil engineering.
