Introductory Chemistry II

CH 107 will introduce students to the fundamental facts, principles, and theories of organic chemistry and biochemistry, and is geared towards allied health professions and non-majors. Topics covered include the following: hydrocarbons, alcohols, esters, aldehydes and ketones, carboxylic acids, amines and amides, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, and nucleic acids. This course meets Blazer Core Curriculum Scientific Inquiry.
