This course introduces statistical concepts and methods commonly used in biomedical and public health. Students will learn to summarize, visualize, and interpret data; apply probability models; perform statistical inference; and build regression models for both continuous and categorical outcomes. Emphasis is placed on understanding underlying principles, correct application of statistical techniques, and accurate interpretation in the context of biomedical research.
