COBOL Programming

This course combines current COBOL program design and coding techniques with business systems concepts for a practical, thorough introduction to the business information systems environment. Several non-trivial programming assignments will be coded using structured programming techniques. The COBOL syntax is presented within the framework of commonly encountered business-system program models. Concepts are developed step- by-step, proceeding from the simple to the more complex.
