Teaching and Curriculum Development

This course focuses on principles of teaching, teaching maturity, personality conduct, and the development of cosmetology curriculum. Emphasis is placed on teacher roles, teaching styles, teacher challenges, aspects of curriculum development, and designing individual courses. Upon completion, the student should be able to describe in the role of teacher, identify means of motivating students, the develop a course outline, and develop lesson plans.
