Motor Speech

This course addresses the effective and efficient diagnosis, treatment and management of dysarthria and acquired/developmental verbal apraxia. This course will address neurologic bases, etiology and medical diagnoses; knowledge of assessment tools, protocols and procedures; patient selection criteria; approaches to case management and corresponding intervention strategies; and treatment outcomes data. Extensive audio and video examples of the dysarthria and apraxia are employed.
