Fluency Disorders

This course provides students with the opportunity for advanced study of the etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis, and treatment of fluency disorders. Students will learn to apply counseling principles and techniques to clinical practice that can be useful for expanding their clinical effectiveness. Measurement of primary and secondary stuttering behaviors and related client feelings and attitudes are discussed.
