Review anatomy and physiology of the vocal mechanism and normal voice production; discuss functional, organic, and neurogenic voice disorders; demonstrate clinical and instrumental evaluation methods; and present therapeutic techniques and management strategies; expose students to a variety of assessment and treatment factors involved in the multidisciplinary care of patients with cleft lip/palate and craniofacial conditions, as well as appropriate instrumentation for assessment.
