Aphasia

This course will provide the necessary tools to understand the neurological substrates and processes that contribute to communication, to choose assessment tools based on the patient needs, to accurately diagnose disorders, to create a treatment plan based on clinical reasoning and evidence based practice, to interact effectively with medical professionals, and to communicate with families/caregivers in a clear and culturally appropriate manner.
