Sports Writing and Reporting

This course prepares students to write sports stories for news outlets with an emphasis on sports-related news gathering and reporting for print and online media. Work may include sports reporting, interviewing athletes and coaches, writing on tight deadlines, game summaries, sports statistics, analysis, feature writing and effective sports media content.
