Global Rhetoric

The purpose of this course is to expand students’ understanding of how symbols, language, and communication are used by humans, in global contexts, to make & interpret meaning as well as to generate possibilities for change in their lives and communities. Students will learn about historical and contemporary differences in what rhetoric and communication mean. They will also learn how these differences impact human communication and public culture from their community spaces to the workplace.
