Private Security

This course is an overview of the history and development of the growing private security field. Special emphasis is placed on the work of Alan Pinkerton, and others, in the early days of the development of the private security field. Current liability issues related to the provision of private security services are explored. Methods of disaster preparedness and emergency preparedness planning are explored.
