Topics in the course include: computer networks overview, OSI layers, transport, network and link layers of the protocol stack, including network management, traffic engineering, router internals, queuing theory, data link protocol, flow control, congestion control, routing, local area networks, transport layer, fundamental principles underlying computer and telecommunication networks, wireless protocols and security.
