Building Humanizing Classroom Communities in Secondary Schools

This course will expose students to cultural and societal issues and perspectives that impact schools and schooling. The course lays a foundation for responsible participation and practice as a teacher in a diverse society by preparing candidates to make informed decisions about teaching, learning, and being in complex cultural contexts of both the U.S. and global communities.
