TURFGRASS COMPETITIONS

LAB. 2. Departmental approval. The class is a comprehensive overview of practical turfgrass management in preparation for student competitions organized by the Sports Field Managers Association 9SFMA Student Challenge)and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (Turf Bowl). Students will compete in one or both of these contests during the semester following successful completion of the course. Course may be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
