Theory of Multi-Engine Aircraft Operations

This course explores multi-engine aircraft theory and aerodynamics, pre-flight requirements for safe operation of multi-engine aircraft, and flight and landing maneuvers for aircraft of this type. Topics include system operation of constant speed propellers, multi-tank and pump fuel systems, dual electrical systems, turbocharger and ice control systems. Students also learn to use performance charts based on multi-engine weight and balance.
