FOUNDATIONS OF MULTILINGUAL LEARNER INSTRUCTION

Non-major course to introduce students to the essential components of effective instruction of multilingual students in a variety of contexts. Topics include instructional models for teaching multilingual students, linguistically and culturally responsive pedagogy, second language acquisition, formative and summative assessment.
