Creative Movement for Children

This course examines movement as a foundation for developing basic fitness, pedagogical approaches, and creative dance activities. Learning styles, curriculum integration as well as awareness of cultural diversity will be explored in conjunction with theory and practice in creative and rhythmic movement discovery. Readings, activities, and assignments have been selected to reflect cultural diversity. (MULT) Prerequisites: DAN 2201 with a grade of "D" or better.
