Clinical Dental Hygiene I

This course is designed to provide the student with the opportunity to develop instrumentation skills necessary and for comprehensive dental hygiene treatment including able the removal of hard and soft deposits. Emphasis is placed on patient assessment, treatment planning, polishing restorations, application of topical fluoride, and patient education, oral hygiene instruction and tissue evaluation.
