Special Topics in Dentistry

This course is designed to address special topics in dentistry and dental hygiene according to the criteria approved for continuing education by the Code of Alabama. Emphasis is placed on non-surgical periodontal therapy, infection control/OSHA, treatment of special needs/medically compromised patients, oral pathology basic sciences, dental materials, medical emergencies, ethics and jurisprudence.
