DENTAL HYGIENE CARE I

Dental hygiene care for the medically or dentally compromised patient including supportive treatment options. Emphasis is placed on the following: prevention, recognition, and management of medical and dental emergencies; laser therapy; and pain management, including nitrous oxide monitoring, administration of local anesthetic by infiltration, and topical anesthetic agents.
