Creative Processes in Dance: Performance and Promotions

This course explores creative processes and performance in various dance styles. Students will research their chosen subject matter with a public presentation as the culmination of the class. The class promotes unique staging and performance opportunities by allowing students to develop work to be presented off campus, with the possibility of presentation internationally. Students learn about creating press releases, an on-line presence, and video/photo promos for concert promotions.
