INTRODUCTION TO LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY

This course will introduce students to the tools and techniques expected of an entertainment lighting technician. Students will gain an in depth understanding of the construction and maintenance of basic lighting equipment, basic light board programming, and will develop the ability to design and execute simple circuit designs. A key component of this class is a full hang and focus of a light plot, a hands on experience with instructor supervision and support.
