A second level course that fulfills requirements for the Scenery and Lighting degree track. Basic rigging and automation topics such as counterweight principles, arena rigging, 481 torque, power, bridles and slings, and motors will be examined. Safe work at elevation will be a constant class priority, as well as other safety concerns such as load limits, weight calculations, and proper installation of hardware.
