Intermediate Echocardiography Physics

Builds upon foundational ultrasound physics concepts from DSAE 1370, focusing on their application in echocardiography such as mechanics of ultrasound production and display, various transducer designs and construction, quality assurance, and bioeffects. Students will explore advanced principles of sound wave interaction, Doppler physics, hemodynamics, and the technical aspects of optimizing echocardiographic imaging.
