Systemic Interventions in Abusive Relationships

This course examines the causes of and therapeutic techniques used in abusive relationships including domestic violence, and sexual, verbal, and emotional abuse. The student will choose one kind of abuse, do an extensive research of the literature, and write a 30-page paper reviewing the literature and suggesting intervention strategies for this type of abuse.
