The impact of globalization on consumers, workers, the structure of production, markets, and government and international regulation and economic strategies; the determinants of economic growth and development, the nature of international trade and finance, as well as the phenomena of inflation and unemployment; the changing structure of selected national economies. The course may not be taken for credit if ECON 101 has already been taken.
