ASD: Advanced Social and Behavioral Methods

A major focus of this course is the utilization of applied analysis to support students with ASD who present behavioral challenges. Development of behavioral objectives, data collection procedures, singlesubject design and functional behavior assessment are addressed in the course. Strategies for addressing antecedents to behavior and consequences of behavior are explored. Generalization and selfmonitoring/self-regulatory strategies are addressed.
