Sociocultural Dynamics in Learning Communities

This course draws on interdisciplinary literature to explore social, cultural, historical, and political dynamics and its implications on education for people, organizations, and communities. This will involve an exploration of the sociocultural dynamics in learning communities through a personal lived perspective and through the ecologies of knowing framework (Guajardo et al., 2013; Guajardo et al., 2016): self, organization, and community.
