Literacy curriculum, teaching, and media for children ages four through twelve. Foundational Understanding of the Science of Reading, Current Research, Simple View of Reading, Scarborough‚Äôs Rope, Structure Literacy. Strategies for Teaching Phonological/Phonemic Awareness; Informal Assessment of Phonological/Phonemic Awareness; Interventions for Phonological/Phonemic Awareness. Laboratory Experiences with children are an integral part of the course. Curriculum lab fee.
